XXIV Hemingway Prize of Lignano Sabbiadoro

Saturday, June 7, at the Kursaal in Lignano Sabbiadoro, will be held the XXIV edition of Hemingway Prize for writing and journalism, with which will be recognised the merits of outstanding figures of television, press, fiction and essays that, thanks to their works or activities hava highlighted a high social and cultural content.

This traditional appointment among the events of Lignano is organised by the local authority for Culture and represents an opportunity to reaffirm the possibility of a journalism and writing that is content-based and not based only on conformism and sensationalism.

1st Little Marathon of Lignano Sabbiadoro

Lignano Sabbiadoro is situated on a green peninsula between the Lagoon of Marano and the Adriatic Sea, near the mouth of the Tagliamento River: what better setting for a fun day of sport? Sunday, May 18 is scheduled the first edition of Maratonina of Lignano Sabbiadoro, a national race (certified FIDAL and AIMS) that hopefully could become through the years a tradition among the events of Lignano.

The race course set on a distance of 21097 meter, alongside the beach and forwards inside the lush pine forest, with departure and arrival at the Stadio Comunale "Teghil."
